Re: Timeshare Adventures, inc. (by Marian S.):

I am trying to sell my timeshare and have it listed on several sites for nominal fees. Timeshare Adventures desperately wanted me to list with them after I made an inquiry about their services. They bugged me with phone calls and e-mails. However, they charge an upfront fee of $595. Since they made themselves out to be so great, I countered their offer and said I would pay them $1,000 on the tail end if they sold it for BELOW what they said it was worth AND if I paid the 2010 maintenance fees. Their reply: "we are multi-million dollar company and don't make unethical deals such as you are suggesting." Their reasons? It wasn't in their "business model" and that it would be "illegal to accept a commission." So what to they consider their fee? And why couldn't they accept my "fee"?? So there you go. I made them an offer they couldn't refuse and they did. Do you know of ANYONE who actually volunteered to raise the fee they'll pay?
