The ONLY way this would successfully happen is if the resort WILL take the week back (and the vast majority will not as maintennace fees are their bread and butter) and you're still stuck with it (maintenace fees, special assessments and any other fees involved). If you don't pay they will turn you over to collections, foreclose on you and ruin your credit score.
