HI, Those companies that relieve you of your timeshare will only charge you $3500.00 and then put it on eBay for $1. This is what has destroyed the resale market for timeshares. So the company that relieves you of your timeshare is a very big part of the problem. This thread really explains what their procedure is. In this case the resort is allowing these "relief companies" to prey on the Owners.
