Scams do occasionally happen on RedWeek.com but most transactions are between two honest parties. Makes sure that you and the owner communicate via email and phone to get a feel of each other. Call the resort to make sure they actually own a week there. Sign a rental agreement. But the best way to protect yourself is to use the rental escrow company. If you feel anything strange is going on with any owners please let us know at support@redweek.com.
