We were told by a Marriott salesperson that "black market" sales (anything sold outside of Marriott) would receive greatly reduced services and availability." In other words Marriott is trying to inhibit the private resale market. We understand that when you buy on the secondary market you cannot get the "points" but has anybody heard about restricting availability and owner services? Also, the guy said the only way to buy was through "Marriott Resales" - we cannot find "Marriott Resales" anywhere? What do you know?
