Fairmont Rancho Banderas Time Share Fraud (by Ling D.):

My husband and I bought this time share in 2004, because my husband interested with the location We had been informed, you'll get your " CASH BACK " when for certain amount of months after you paid this time share and when the months came, I called them up, they said " THE CASH BACK MONEY " CLOSED, so .....you can't get the cash back anymore. I PAID 16.000 for 460 points, and when they raised up the maintenance fee unbelievable, I was complained to LEAN TUCKER, what is going on why maintenance fee raised 200%, she said we are going to make our resort 5 STARS. And my husband passed away, I lost my job, I can't make, on 2009, I had a point 240 points, left, I want to get one bedroom unit they said, they don't have that unit, suddenly my points expired without I know it, I do know I'd still have another year to combine that points with the coming year points to get 2 bedrooms unit, and the resort asking me to pay fine to save my expired points ( According to their rule ) and I had to paid EXTRA MONEY for 240 points another $150, beside $850 maintenance fees every year I have to pay Finally.......I told myself, I can't afford it anymore to keep this time share which unreasonable RAISED UP their maintenance fee, so I contacted the resort, to return it my time share to them, and I take the LOST It was A BIG MISTAKE ALREADY in the first place when WE BOUGHT THIS TIME SHARE, until now I am still dealing with them how to return it this time share to them without AGAINST my credit record because I don't owe any money with them up to this year, I still paid my maintenance fee
