It sounds like there has been a lot of misunderstanding and buyer's remorse on this forum.

We too have never had issues with Rancho Banderas. It is a very popular resort, always booked at least a year in advance. You MUST reserve your time a full year in advance or your will not get the dates you desire. We have 720 points and have never had any difficulty using our time, once we learned the system.

When we were down there last month we talked to several folks looking to purchase MORE points, as well as one couple who were trying to sell part of their their 2000+ points in 480-600 point increments. Some friends of ours purchased 600 points from them for $2000! If you are interested in selling, buyers are out there. But at least try to get something for your investment. A sales trip to Rancho or posting sales online could definitely put some money back in your pocket!
