I was messaged on Redweek about renting a week of mine at Westgate Town Center. After messaging back and forth for a few days the lady assured me that she wanted the week. I called Westgate and put the $140.00 on my credit card to get the week that they wanted (I had to use a banked week because we own fixed and they were going during another time). A couple of days ago Margie called me back and said that her son had been in a car accident and that they would not be going. I told her that I felt that she was responsible for the 140.00 and that I should not have to pay it. I was renting the week for 400.00 anyway so I was not making much on it. Do I have any recourse on this situation other than small claims court if she refuses to pay?
