I'm new to the rental process and trying to rent at Harborside Resort and a little apprehensive about the process. Trying to stay away from the escrow. After the owner changes the reservation to the renter's name and you pay him, can he call the resort and rechange the name without your consent? i.e. Once the reservation is changed to your name, does the resort take the reservation change request only from the renter or from the owner also?
