The overwhelming brokers you are referring to are upfront fee resale scams. If your timeshare has value then you can just as well sell it yourself on Redweek and other internet sites. Be aware that some timeshare weeks can't even be given away in this economy. You have to be very competitive in your pricing if your week has any worth at all.
