I have rented to and rented from with no problem. But that doesn't mean there aren't people looking to steal someones money. I would be a little more leary of international spots and getting stuck someplace, I've dealt with many wonderful people on Redweek.

Best way to do it is 1-find your resort and settle on a price 2-Get the reservation Number and call the resort to be sure it is the date and size unit you want 3-Pay by credit card if possible (PayPal) it is safer and some people won't take a check or money order 4-Once the money is paid the renters name is put on the reservation and request that verification ( My resorts email it to me and I keep a copy and forward it to the renter.) 5-Call the resort closer to arrival date to doublecheck all the details.--Enjoy the vacation.
