Westgate is the biggest snake in the pit, I sold my 2 bedroom 2 bath for 100.00, first tried to say they had first right of refusal and as buyer was giving me 700 extra per banked week with II which was approved wanted deal to go through, Westgate of course was just going to give me the 100.00 in six months and I had to deal with my own banked weeks. I had to get very upfront and work my way up the ladder and threaten legal action before I finally got them to allow transfer. They claim later contracts have more restrictions, mine was a 1980 contract, too bad this industry has gone into the dumps lead by a bunch of greedy developers, and liars in the sales field, many lives have been financially put in ruins and little help from authorities. A few of the resellers have been caught but new ones pop up before the last door was closed. I have a week in Canada owned by Shell and can rent it each year for twice the maintenance fee, however in Orlando if you get your maintenance fee you are blessed unless you have xmas, notice how high priced getaways are available at xmas but exchanges are few and far between!!!!
