I tried to rebook on short notice and was told no, no, no by Diamond HQ. I only wanted to shift the stay forward by one day. They said that was a cancellation and their policy was blah, blah, blah. I could extend my stay but with a minimum of two days. "The Meaning of Yes" is a cruel joke.
When I got to the resort I found that I could easily book one extra night in the same room for a good price. But when I called them the first time they said they could not talk to me, I had to call Diamond since I used points.
"Rules and Sleeze" says it all about DRI.
