It's highly doubtful that this company in Mexico can put a lien on a building in the USA. That is probably out of its jurisdiction. Also, chances are slim that the resort or its management will hamper your credit rating. For most of the Mexican RTUs, they just accept that the "owner" is defaulting, reclaim the unit, and then sell it to someone else for tens of thousands of dollars after putting them through the grinder at a sales presentation.
