(1) upfront costs now and no guarantees: have goals been stipulated or described? i think not, or if yes, then forgive my unawareness. in no way am i criticizing this legal effort nor owners who prefer to use this method to recoup losses caused by TMC/EICHNER. i'm merely contrasting the choices available.

(2) join the COALITION**with no immediate upfront fees. our stipulated goals are clearly stated and described, however, with no guarantees. our owner- contact base has been growing. as an optimum number of owner contacts becomes a reality, we assume that our arsenal of owners listed (and the ability to easily contact them) will benefit further action on our part. perhaps then, we'll need an attorney to proceed in achieving our stated goals and fees would obviously be anticipated. even with this advantage of a solid owner contact base, no guarantees of success are implied. (keep in mind that although the current attorney on this case is attempting to obtain a complete TMC owner list via court intervention, there are no guarantees that he will get this list). the COALITION'S owner list is being compiled with the permission of any owner who REQUESTS to be included; the privacy issue, as the excuse given by TMC for not relinquishing the owners' list, is MOOT. additionally, joining the COALITION in no way precludes subscribing to an attorney's service, a possibly favorable decision: two positive actions working toward similar goals.

owners are free to do both. we believe in the adage that THERE'S STRENGTH IN NUMBERS. perhaps we'll "luck-out" and get the request to join the COALITION from owners who might be attorneys or others who might have the appropriate background to assist the COALITION in achieving its goal..... good possibilities.

the COALITION leaves you with these thoughts: regardless of the path you choose, the hope is that any and all financial distress to owners caused by TMC will be reversed and remediated....via (among other issues) substantial reduction of maintenance fees and optimum desirable reservation availability........................ regardless of which (or both) options you choose. these possible outcomes MIGHT positively affect the value of our TMC share ownership and share market value sales potential, issues that remain to be realized.
