I am trying to help my parents-in-law get out of their Westgate timeshare. They live in Brazil and bought a unit in Florida through Westgate in Brazil. I don't know the whole story but it seems Westgate's claws have a far reach.

Can you explain what are the reservation constraints that Westgate imposes on resale units?
