Dream Travel Condos anyone?
I have a pacer account and this case is dismissed for not filing schedules, her attorney filed a motion to reinstate and we have until March 20th to file objections,,no worries there. I am watching this through Pacer every day so if any one wants a document or something let me know. File your objection to reinstatement due to fraudulent activity and state why it was fraudulent. Make two copies and send to the court certify mail receipt with an envelope self addressed and stamped so they can return your copies. Then do a motion to appear telephonically for the hearing.

I phoned the Trustee but he was in court and the person answering his phone would not provide any information. Told me to call back between 8:00 am and 8:30 am If I needed to speak to him. Was hoping to speak to him tomorrow. Was there an actual discharge filed? Anyone have a Pacer account they can check?

your company should contact me. I have information and documentation on where the money went. I need to hear from someone at corporate asap.
anthonya189 wrote:What it means for the creditors is that there are many corporate creditors and the non-corporate creditors will get about 0.03 CENTS on the Dollar. That means if you're out $1000.00 you'll get 30 cents. In other words, as my company is out $580,000.00 we stand to recover $174.60. From that we have to pay lawyer's fees and disbursements of about $9,000.00

I don't know Anthony but I don't think his statement was meant as criticism. None of us deserved this. I hope you'll stick with this Susan. The sharing of information and resources is for everyone's benefit. 1st step is to have bankruptcy dismissed. As I'm certain Tonya is reading this, I'll leave it at that for now.

I was perusing the Better Business Bureau site this morning and was surprised that I couldn't find any complaints against Tonya Williams . I don't believe that Dream Travel Condos filing for bankruptcy (though technically she's only tried to file for chapter 7 - seems like her lack of ability in running her business spills over to other areas of her life as well), precludes us from filing a complaint with this agency. If you feel that your dealings with Tonya were questionable, don't forget to also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau after you file a complaint with the Attorney General and or file an objection to the bankruptcy. BANKRUPTCY WILL NOT STOP HER FROM RUNNING A SIMILAR BUSINESS IN THE FUTURE. If your complaint is legitimate, it's important to file it with the BBB as it is a reliable and easily searchable source for consumers (and her future customers). Make sure you name her personally as well as Dream Travel Condos in your complaint as it's unlikely that the name Dream Travel Condos will ever see the light of day again.

No BBB complaints because no one submits any. We just ***** about Tonya but we are too lazy to follow up

So sorry, but not true. Our complaints have been rejected because we are a business and they only take consumer to business complaints. We are arguing that they should accept it because she hurt consumers as well.

Interesting. What exactly does that mean? Are you planning to file bankruptcy too?

Remember folks, this Friday March 20th is the deadline to file your Objection to the Reinstatement of the Bankruptcy. If you haven't had time to file you still can. Your motion can be filed electronically with the court. Just call the court to register and get directions on how to do so. Remember that you must also send a copy to Tonya William's lawyer by Friday as well. Remember to put it in format of a motion (just google it to see examples) and also remember to add a request at the end to participate in any hearings via telephone if you are unable to attend in person. If the judge decides to reinstate, we will have 60 days after that to file our objections so don't worry if you can't meet this weeks deadline. It's important that all of the creditors object to the bankruptcy and contact both the Better Business Bureau in Mississippi and the Attorney General to file complaints. Even those who have received refunds from their credit card companies and Paypal should be filing with the Attorney General and the BBB. Not everyone was as fortunate as you and we would sure appreciate it if you continue to fight the fight with us. Step 1 - Get bankruptcy dismissed. Step 2 - Orange is the new black, baby!! The only thing stopping her from setting up another travel business in the future and putting another group of travelers through this is us.
