Dream Travel Condos anyone?

Apr 22, 2015

It's very simple. Stop paying and let them sue you. Then subpoena their records for your defense and make them open their books for the judge to see where the money went. I'll bet they won't sue anyone and they will just go bankrupt like they plan to do anyway.

As to them suing you for filing a complaint with the BBB. No one can sue you for exercising your legal right to file a complaint unless it malicious. Don't be intimidated by them. It's just hot air showing how desperate they are to hide the truth. Let's watch them file for bankruptcy just like Tonya Williams.

steven1251, how did you find out about the BBB? If everyone is putting in the same complaint....the BBB may investigate THEM! And the other poster is right, if they do, then they will definitely have to open the books.

What happened to Dream Travel blogs? Has Tanya Williams gone to jail yet for fraud?

Really?! How did you find out? Did the courts mail you a notice?

This is crazy! She filed for bankruptcy in January and has had plenty of time to get her house in order to prepare for this. Does giving her 6 months seem unreasonable to anyone else? Is she using this gift of extra time to cook her books? Skip town? Take a relaxing time out at her vacation rental? God knows what else. Tonya's creditors deserve their day in court and in a timely manner. Now this is what's wrong with the justice system. Instead of bending over backwards to accommodate her, the courts should be holding her accountable. She's not ready to defend herself...too bad. She should have to live with the consequences of not taking this seriously and using the legal system to inflict financial hardship on so many for her own personal gain. Shame on her.

I got a notice from the Bankruptcy court, but I will be verifying it before I make final plans to attend. I hope others will also not forgot what she has done. I will not forgot the hardship that she has caused me and my family.

Does anyone know what to do at this point? We have filed with Bankruptcy court and filing with FTC. Any other avenues? She cannot be allowed to get away with this.

Are you going to the hearing? I think we need to show up or atleast join by phone. She owns another business, so I really want to see what she did with the money that she took from everyone.

Who do you think paid the $20,000? Anthony??? Guess again. Now they are collecting to make up for the expense. Good luck. How long before bankruptcy is looming right here in Canada?

Apparently they expect the members to pay for their bad business decisions and their unethical advertising. Must be nice to have an unlimited cash flow from innocent members whose only fault was to buy into something they thought was a good deal. Anyone should be able to defend themselves if they try to sue you for non payment with all this information that you now have. It's obvious that they breached every members trust.

Suitelife members should not be expected to pay for the mismanagement of this company: including this CRTC fine. Furthermore, the way the company has handled the Dream travel fiasco is an example of extremely poor customer service. Members have been threatened with collections. Members have been threatened with legal action. The company's responses to Better Business complaints are appalling. Marilyn' s post was unhelpful but I now know the definition of moving on to greener pastures. Another person in this forum complained about being yelled at by two women in the office. Do we know if Suitelife members are paying these people's salaries?

Someone should start a new thread titled Suitelife scam so anyone googling them will go directly to the thread. Right now it's under Dream Travel condos.

I received a notice from the US bankruptcy court of Mississippi and it stated the debtors motion to reinstate the case, (the Motion) (DKT #11) on June 30th was DENIED. I am not sure what this all means Leslie

Looks like the court turned down her bankruptcy. Now she has to figure out how to repay her debts.
