In our mid-80's we are ending Marriott points ownership this year, but may continue traveling into 2026. What is the best way to buy points for only the ensuing year (2026) from a points owner who can't or won't be using them?

What is the process to sell your points on red week ? If you pay for the higher service . Can you speak to someone about this? Do I need to get something from Marriott

We purchased resale points and as part of the closing they charge an exchange fee that was approx $2.85 a point. When we went to their sales pitch the salesman confirmed they were in our portfolio and contributed to our status.
