I cannot believe that we got another call this morning from a young woman inviting us to an RCI informational meeting at Ruby Tuesday's in Westbrook, ME. I told her that RCI does not host these informational meetings. She stated that they just started this year. I informed her of the March, 2012 RCI informational meeting we attended that was a complete scam and she hung up on me.

Can someone please pass the information that Patricial406 just posted to RCI and the AG so they can contact Ruby Tuesday and find the dates and times that the meetings will be held and use that as evidence that the scammers are still in business. Hopefully RCI can send someone to document the use of the RCI name in their presentation. Let's see if we can catch them in the act and put them out of business.

I called RCI to verify that they do not hold informational meetings and they do not. These meetings are to be held next Monday & Tuesday, 5/27 & 5/28, I think she said. The phone number that came up read RCI Pts GHL 770-439-7932.

I did a reverse look up on that phone number and it is a landline in Las Vegas, NV. Does that surprise anyone?

To boobier: I have been told and also you had stated that Sunset Harbor was not part of the scam with Guy Russell and BJ , that they just got caught in it also. Why do we not here from Bill Mitchell or any one else with PROOF that they are also going after the scammers for the damage they have done financially and to their business reputation. I do not believe I have never received any thing from that stating what legal action they are taking. When PRL went out of business I called SSH and was told by some one that Bill Mitchell will be flying in from Las Vegas to talk with the staff. To me that sounds like he lives in Las Vegas also and if so wouldn't you think he would have known about the phony regional office in LV ?

SSH is a resort that did not have any sales team, Guy Russell "R&R Venture Group and PRL sold the inventory that they bought from SSH. 2. Guy Russell bought inventory (timeshares rooms) from SSH & Vacation Villas in Florida so that his teams could sell them. BJ Cooke works for R&R Venture Group. 3. AG's from many states are in touch daily with Bill Mitchell & RCI (they just don't tell him everything) 4. Bill Mitchell never has and has no reason to live in Las Vegas. 5. SSH has nothing to do with the Las Vegas office or PRL and all the Department of Justice and AG's are aware of this. I firmly believe that Sunset Harbor Resorts IS IN ON THIS SCAM. They were listed on the credit card statement as the merchant, so they got the money. I personally spoke to the on-site manager, Debbie Berra, and she admitted that SHR pays the brokers (Hughes Dewailly & Patrick Thompson) commissions for selling SHR timeshares. How can they NOT be a part of this scam? Debbie is well aware of the complaints. I also spoke to someone in their legal department, so I know they are also well-aware of the complaints. But, they continue to use these brokers to "sell" their timeshares. And, guess where their headquarter's offices are located!!! Yep, 6132 W Sahara Ave, Las Vegas!!!

I give up, The SCAM is PRL, everyone got a Deed from the state of Texas for Sunset Harbor.. All the AG's and RCI understand and all agree with this part. The part that everyone is calling a SCAM is the part that Brandon "BJ" Cooke promised people that he would rent/sale the points from that resort to pay for the timeshare that was bought (SHR). YES, Sunset Harbor resort contracted with R&R Venture Group to sale timeshare units but NOT PRL, EPS, VSI, GLH, ABC, DEF, or any other company that had anything to do with renting or selling points. Lets just let the AG's and RCI do the rest. tinkak117, if you talked to someone in the legal department you must have been talking to BJ. (they don't have a legal department.)

I'm sure the Attorney General will investigate all the parties involved and determine who is responsible for what. Let them decide who is breaking the laws.

Last night after I signed off my computer I was troubled by things that were posted in the room. There will be disagreements about who is responsible for what or who are the main players. That is up to the proper autorities to decide. I spent over 25 years in law enforcement and I can tell you that they will investigate it thoroughly and realize who is doing what.

I want to see everyone in the room cooperate and bring these scammers to justice. I also ask everyone to be patient. Just because people posted information on this thread doesn't mean the AG can act on that alone. There has to interviews and evidence gathering. The scammers have to be identified and located. This takes time and a lot of resources. Unfortunately timeshare scams aren't top priority in the AG's office so I ask everyone to be patient.

We have seen a few posts in here that are obviously written by people involved in the scam attempting to discourage others from pursuing them. Ignore them and keep posting. All the information you post can help prevent them from ripping others off and also assist in bringing them to justice.

Please keep the line of communication open and let us know when and where they are having another meeting so we can be there to bust therm in the act. Keep posting any information you have about them and eventually we will bring them to justice.

Boobier has given everyone the contact infromation for filing complaints and the locations the scammers are operating out of. Please contact the authorites if you are a victim or have any information to help them prosecute the scammers. Let's stay unified.

What I was saying is that if Bill Mitchell was in LV as I was told you would have thought he would have went to the office that represented him and questioned why they called it the SSH Regional Office. Do not know what your connection is with this however I do hope what you say is correct. x I will let these other people know about Wisconsin AG. Like I have mentioned before -I have read from you and also heard that Bill Mitchell was not part of the scam. Then he must not know how to run a business very well to sign a contract without checking out R& R venture Group first before he allowed these people to get him in such financial trouble. My contract I signed that got me into this scam does not compare to what Bill Mitchell stands to lose. To jayjay, jamesv145, donp196 - & everyone else here trying to get the money that BJ Cooke & Guy Russell took from our families. I also lost money to these scammers and I'm trying my best to get it back. I talk daily to AG's and RCI to give information they need to stop these people. I see everyday what happens and what comes and goes at R&R Venture Group in Vegas. A little over a week ago I saw BJ Cooke go in the doors there and wanted so bad to go in and demand my money but I held back because I have to believe that the AG's with the help of RCI & this forum will bring these guys to justice.

He is right, BUT, the AG's office in Wisconsin has this at the TOP of the list and is going after them full force. Tennessee is working with Florida and I'm trying to put more of them together now. The Nevada Medical board is aware of this and is working on and helping us with information making sure that everything is proper on that part of it. As donp196 said, "Keep posting any information you have about them and eventually we will bring them to justice." also, file with you AG's office in the state where you had your meeting with BJ Cooke. It doesn't matter if Guy Russell or BJ Cooke see this or post things here to try to send us in another direction. They can;t change anything now, the ball is rolling.

There are things that AG offices have ask me not to put on here, wish I could but not at this time. I will keep posting all the things I can that won't slow down or hurt the process of of bringing them to justice.
