Hilton Vacation Club Kaanapali Beach

Ka'anapali Beach Owners Check Here

We have a similar deed arrangement and our maintenance fees are still low enough to keep it worthwhile.

We own 2 weeks every odd year. We love the resort and are so sad we cannot travel to Hawaii this year because of COVID. We love KBC it is worth the fees for us as long as they keep up the property.

Is anyone current day still having these same issues? We are, but now they are trying to charge $13g's for my hubby to transfer his deed into us collection???? UMMMM NO! ATTORNEY TIME!

No need for an attorney. Just say NO and don’t do owner updates.

Hi. I am thinking about purchasing a deeded floating week (high) at KBC. My question is how hard is it to get a reservation? This may become harder with the Hilton takeover--any thoughts? I am not ever interested in their points program, and don't want to purchase and never able to get into KBC. Does DRI play any games when trying to book a week? Thanks for any advice.

If you can join The Club ($500/year or so) then I think that gives you priority booking. We have deeded weeks, got into points under Sunterra (no forfeiting the deed) and I tried to explain that we don't ever go anywhere but Ka'anapali Beach Club so couldn't I save the Club fees since KBC is my home resort? I was told I would no longer get priority booking, which negates a Silver benefit...whatever you want to do, the more sense it makes the less likely you are to get it.

You will be able to book your week there are no games. However, the earlier you can make your reservation, the better.

Points reservations and weeks reservations are different sets of inventory. If you are making a reservation for your week, you have priority for weeks.

I’m a owner from Embassy suites times. It’s almost impossible to book a week. They want my week deposited then play the no room available game.

How can I reserve a week KBC. Before I deposit my week and loose it into the system of no rooms available?

Thank you for the update and for working to get more owners involved. It’s good to have a website to help with communication and keep everyone informed. I’ll log in and check for updates.

I have multiple weeks and also am in the points system. Availability with the weeks system is 10 times better than the points system. I never would have bought points if I would have known. Hilton assured weeks owners that if we are happy with our weeks ownership, nothing will change. I have both ocean view and deluxe ocean view weeks for sale. I own more than I need.

I have heard from two Diamond Centum members and one Platinum member who were told if they didn't buy a Hilton deed they would have very few locations to stay at or they could "release equity" of $441,000 if they purchased a Hilton deed. Two were on our Pod TV show Timeshare Solution or Surrender this past Monday, Episode 62. It's very buyer beware. The best advice is to buy a Hilton deed on resale. US Collection points have no resale value. RedWeek described Diamond policy some years back, describing their secondary market restrictions as "draconian"

We have 2 deeded two weeks at KBC which we purchased when it was Embassy Suites 1999. Plus we have 1 deeded Odd week also at KBC. In all they total 21,000 points per year. We would like to sell them if anyone is interested.

We were also told we had to buy Hilton in order to maintain priority, which was a lie. I find it interesting that they give 7 days to rescind but the fraud is not discovered usually until considerable time has passed. As a long-time Hilton honors member, I was disappointed that they were just like all the other timeshare scoundrels.
