kris, did the ad say it was for a Friday check-in? Also did it state if it was for a one bedroom?
Hopefully you downloaded the ad so you will have confirmation as to what it stated before any changes were made by the owner. If you did so, then you certainly have the right and the proof to dispute this transaction with the owner and you should be charged nothing to change it back into their name. This should be the responsibity of the owner if he changed his ad after confirmation.
An important lesson learned, always download ads (or place them in your favorites) that you have confirmed with an owner before they can make any changes.
Also, and this is very important, always require a rental agreement that states all pertinent information before you sign on the dotted line and confirm.
