Fairfield Westwinds vs Fairfield Ocean BlvdNorth Myrtle Beach

Postive/Negatives of each of these fairfield resorts. Is one better than another?

Ocean Boulevard is newer and more modern. It is also a very large resort with four towers of units. Westwinds is a smaller resort and is older. It does not have all the amenities that Ocean Boulevard has. I guess it depends on whether you like a large resort or a smaller one.

Most units are oceanfront at Westwinds with big balconies and tremondus views. The most units at Ocean Boulevard are ocean view and have small balconies and view on an angle. We like Westwinds better for the Oceanfront. Our grown children and grandchildren, however, like the amenities of Ocean Boulevard and its closeness to some stores within a walking area.

Ocean Blvd can have a CROWDED pool and pool chairs can be hard to obtain if you 'arrive' late to the pool area
