Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Heard anything about them?

They call themselves,"Safe Hands" with a URL of insafehandstransfers.com. According to their flyer they will transfer ownership of your unit. Even pay maintenance Fees. Apparently they will assume your contract or ownership without paying you a cent. You are giving away your timeshare. That would be a good deal for them if you own the unit or have paid a significant amount, say above 55% of the original cost. But if you owed about 80% of the original it wouldn't be a good deal for them.

Any ideas or has anyone checked these guys out? Am I missing something here?

They might actually charge you to take ownership of your timeshare. In fact, they may not even take ownership. They might just assume a Power of Attorney that would allow them to try to sell it for you. But, if they can't sell it, you're still the legal owner and responsible for all maintenance fees.

Usually companies that hand out flyers like that are usually up to no good.
