Can you rent Villa Del Arco?

How do you rent your unit? I called them if I can exchange the week at Arco (via interval) or rent it to someone and they said it wasn't permitted. They told me if I want to exchange, I should book the week to exchange at Villa del Palmer. Rental wasn't permitted. But on this site, I see all these weeks for rent.

You have to either sign up in ~ December with UVC to rent for the coming year, OR you can rent to a person yourself and make the reservation on their behalf. I've done this and rented to someone I found on craigs list. They sent me a check after I made the reservation. Worked out fine...
