Club Land 'Or Bogus Fees

Here is your answer to all of those refurbishment fees, holdover fees, surcharge fees, .. Shall I go on. Well, of course they took us to court and Had our trial today. We are not finished yet because their weasel of an attorney slid a paper back to the judge without us or our attorney verifying the amount. So the judge ruled in the contract where it states that Club Land 'or can charge all those fees,( article 8 ) There is no explanation or said amount of what each fee represents nor a limit on the fee. So it would be ridiculous that they could charge 1 million dollars So he just omitted it and threw out all those charges.

Very interesting. I am getting so tired of all of the fees as well. So does this mean that you do not have to continue paying these ridiculous fees?

Yes, our contract is done. All of those fees were taken off. I had refused to pay them. We knew they were bogus fees . We are considering a counter suit. Also, this attorney may be wiling to take on a class action suit.

It is time for us to bring them down . They need to be exposed to all the agencies and any new people looking for a timeshare. Do not sign unless your attorney reads the document. These people can scam though, as we have all found out.

Yes, we went to court and the judge threw them out. We are out of the contract and all if those fees. However, we may counter sue.

We bought at Harbourside when we stayed at Club Land'or. These are the reasons. Much better amenities, cleaner, more room, none of those ridiculous fees. You can actually own something, you can get a clean shower, room, and the exercise room actually has equipment that works. There are clean towels when you need them. Staff is available when you need them. You have full use of Atlantis because it is part of it. The pools were clean.The lobby at Harourside did not smell stale and musty. It was updated. Club Land'or was dated back to the 1960-70's. That is how old the furniture looked.The Club Land 'or facility looked that way. They only had 1 washer and dryer so you literally had to wait in line to wash clothes You ran out of hot water after one shower at Club Land'or. Very hard beds,nasty too.
