Are BlueGreen points purcahsed on the resale market restricted?

If I buy one of the bluegreen points/deed listed in redweek, are those points restricted? Apparently lots of things changed with BG last year (after I became an owner). I have read on another thread that the resale points won't count toward VIP levels (Bronze, etc). OK, fine, but other than that, can I use these resale points just like my points? Can I use them anywhere, anytime? Can I use them for RCI? Or are they restricted to a certain week or a certain property?

No restrictions on usage with resale points. As you said they don't count toward status. If they are in a different trust then your other points you may have to pay the base fee twice.

How do I find out which Trust a deed is in? I can't find that anywhere in my paperwork.
