Buying, Renting, and Selling Timeshares

Marriott deeded timeshares for sale

Feb 21, 2020

I notice some sales are not Redweek verified Maybe because the seller doesn't want to pay the extra fee or maybe it's not legit. Can I as a buyer pay to have a listing that I'm interested in verified or is there another way to protect myself? Chris.

The owner of the posting would need to pay the $14.99 verification fee for a rental posting, or $19.99 if it is a resale posting. It can take from 7 - 10 business days from the time we receive the resort's confirmation or owner's documents until we are able to verify all the details with the resort and add the verified and protected flag.

If you are buying a timeshare, then always use a reputable closing/escrow company. If you send us the state the timeshare is located in, we can provide you with recommendations. Just go to the "Contact Us" link at the bottom of any page. Thanks!
