I am traveling to the Grand Bliss in...

I am traveling to the Grand Bliss in February. I have been advised to not leave the resort due to safety concerns. Are there options to getting groceries for my unit other than the expensive option of shopping on the resort?

The grocery store at the resort is pretty good, and I don't feel it is overpriced, get what you need there. If you need to buy a lot of food or adult beverages then I would get a taxi to near by walmart. You will be fine. Plan on about 20 minutes getting from your room to the taxi area of the resort and back. Once you return staff will pack all your groceries into a large bin and deliver them to your room. They are excellent!! Also, don't be afraid to leave the resort, it is a beautiful and fun area to explore. Just like in any city, use common sense.
