I am new to this, what are the downsides to renting out?

I see all the upside but I am new to this, what are the downsides to renting out? Can a renter cancel and me lose money? Can a renter only book part of my booking and me lose Worldmark credits?

We own an equivalent of 14 weeks of timeshare at two different resorts. All RedWeek does is help us offset our dues, however with the cost of posting a rental so high I will not be using RedWeek.com anymore and want others to know about all the excessive fees involved.

It's no longer financially feasible to rent with RedWeek.com Renters also pay 6% on top of rental price.

People just won't be able to use RedWeek anymore. So sorry...
