Reply to Stevef253- The trick is to book in advance. I hope you did not travel by yourself- a requirement is to have someone else on board to anchor on each side of a swing bridge while they swing the bridge and someone else pilots the boat thru. And, I don't believe you could have purchased another boat as anything before the end of September is high season and the kids are still out of school and I found the prices a half again what I paid for the maintenance and exchange fee. So did you do the Grand Canal circle? by Didi M.
