This resort is located on the scenic west coast of Maui, The resort is located next to the beach. It has a heated swimming pool and hot tub. There is a fitness center, mini golf, BBQ grills, small restaurant and a bar. The staff is friendly and helpful. Within walking distance there is a large grocery store (I recommend to pack a couple of cloth bags), beaches, delis, restaurants, and food trucks. I used Lyft for transportation from the airport to the resort and back to the airport. There is a Budget Rent A Car within one half mile of the resort. I rented a convertible car for two days. This was enough time to tour the island. I recommend not to go on the Road to Hana, it isn't worth the time it takes to go there. There is a walking path south of the resort. It goes through other resorts, next to many beaches and a golf course. The state park is on the walking path, a great place to snorkel.
There is a state occupancy tax of $19.04 per day. This should be the only additional charge. This is a great place to vacation. This also is whale watching season. I recommend a whale watching boat tour. Enjoy, enjoy, enjoy.
