The Westin Resort & Spa, Whistler

LOCATION LOCATION LOCATION best location in Whistler village at the foot of Whistler and Blackcomb gondolas. Love the fitness center and the indoor/outdoor pool and jacuzzi. Usually have breakfast in the room, but the option to sit down in the restaurant is nice or grab something from the snack bar. The on-site ski valet is brilliant! Love having so many services contained in the hotel like shops, day care, restaurants, etc. Staff are always friendly and eager to help. There is a house car available (first come/first serve) if you wish to visit Creekside or the best pizza in Whistler: Creekbread.

Our Favorite place in the world to visit! We have been going here every year for 20+ years! Its our families favorite trip of the year!

Stayed here with the family (2 children) for a week this past February (2008). Liked it so much that I booked it for this coming Christmas.

The location is ideal in terms of both ski in/out and entertainment.

In terms of skiing/boarding, the kids ski school drop-off and the gondola are literally just a few feet outside the doors. At the end of the day, the Westin employees meet you at the bottom of the run to grab and store your skis/boards. There is a ski valet located by the door to pick up your ski/board/boots in the morning.

In terms of entertainment/dining, the hotel is located in the whistler village, and there a many shops and restaurants within a short walk.

In terms of rooms, they are 2 bedroom lock-offs. The furnishings and amenities are very upscale. The hotel lobby is great and the hotel staff very friendly and helpful.

This is definitely the top notch resort at Whistler Village.

It doesn't get any better. We stayed at the Westin in Whistler (ski in/ski out) hfour times and are returning there again Feb. 2005. This is a 5 Star Resort with all the amenities from the "heavenly bed" to the plus "robes" placed at the foot of your bed, to the magnificent exercise room. And then, I pampered myself at the first class spa. As if this isn't enough, we skied our hearts out taking advantage of the wonderul ski valet service. Since we're health nuts, we made sure to use the exercise room, hot tub and indoor/outdoor pool. The first class restaurants right in the lobby of the resort will delight your pallet and then you also have the best international cuisine throughout the village which is just a few steps from the Westin.
