    Kings Beach, California

Sheltered in a swath of towering pine trees on Lake Tahoe's north shore is Brockway Springs Resort. Guests are invited to take a dip in the year-round swimming pool heated directly by natural hot springs while the kids frolic in the children's wading pool. Also available are two tennis courts, fishing and boating pier, and a clubhouse with saunas and a fitness room. A beautiful half-mile of wooded and level shoreline is perfect for leisurely evening strolls.

Brockway Springs Resort's suites range in size from one-bedroom, one-bath floor plans to spacious lakefront four-bedroom townhouses. Suites feature fireplaces, fully-equipped kitchens, Wi-Fi access, HBO and cable, DVD players, spacious living areas, in-room washer and dryer, lofts in some units, and furnished decks overlooking the lakefront.

No matter the season, Tahoe always offers plenty of attractions and recreation options to keep you busy. Top-notch ski resorts and golf courses are within easy reach of the resort, and during the warmer months, the lake itself is well-suited for a wide range of watersports. Be sure to check out the north shore's vast array of shops and restaurants, as well as several casino for high-stakes fun!

A beautiful gated community directly on the lake at north Lake Tahoe. The project has 78 condo units of varying sizes, and 19 multi- million dollar homes. (Only a few of the condos are timeshare swaps.)

Quite unusual is the existence of very large units -- up to four bedrooms plus a sleeping loft for a total of five sleeping areas. These are right smack on the lake -- 20 feet away! Has a condo feel, not like a hotel. Great complex in one of the most desireable areas of the North Lake, near ski areas.

The complex has pool, dock, boat bouys for rent if you bring your boat, rec house that can be rented for special occasions, tennis courts. No food service on site, but 25 great restraurants in 10 minute drive.

This is a sleeper because it is not a normal timeshare, only a few units are timeshared. But is really one of the best values on all Lake Tahoe. Discovered it through a friend, it is a real first-class find! We stayed in one of the huge four bedrooms (unit 46) right on the water. Totally remodeled, luxury equipped, absolutely great!

Incidentally, you can rent these units directly from the office without going through a timeshare swap if you wish. Call 530-546- 4301
