If you want to be in the heart of the Waikiki Beach Walk - THIS is the resort! So easy to walk to the Beach or get on the 'Walk' to explore Waikiki! We had a great vacation and loved the views on the many decks from our higher-level room! Would definitely stay again!

We stayed here with our whole family. 9 adults and 1 Gorgeous little 3 year old. Had a blast. This location is great. 2 min. walk to the beach. Another reviewer is correct. The beach is a bit crowded but literally go down a bit further and it is much better. Tons to do right there. Para-sailing. Sailing[drinks or not]. Turtle watching and snorkeling. Beaching. Pool. Shopping. BTW if you can, you MUST go to "Hy's" Steak house. Expensive, but well worth it. Don't try and go with shorts or flip-flops.

Spent a night here in-between resorts on Big Island and Ko Olina. Wish we had stayed here the whole week instead of moving to Ko Olina. So much to do in Waikiki and great restaurants. I have decided Ko Olina is not for me. It's just a very expensive manmade beach. The staff here was so friendly and location is so convenient. Eat breakfast at Eggs n Things if you get a chance to visit.

This is our second visit to Waikiki, and first to Wyndham Waikiki Beach Walk. Fantastic, brilliant, can't say enough good things. Staff helpful, standard of rooms with kitchen facilities are great. Nothing negative, And we are fussy travellers. The Hawaiian people are similar to Bali people, with their kindness and spirituality. The Beach Walk precinct is great for those who don't want to walk far, and for Aussies, this definition of "winter" in January will make you laugh. Make sure you bring just a back-back buy a suitcase here and stock up on items. Some definite things to do: . Get the weekly trolley ticket - and definitely do the green and red lines; . The pink line will take you to Ala Moana Centre - huge number of shops like Sears and Nordstroms; food court downstairs and upstairs precinct has great restaurants - from Waikiki Beach Walk, it is only a 25 minute walk to try and drop kilos from all the HUGE meal servings . Walmart is just at the back of Ala Moana Centre . Go to go to Waikele Premium Outlets - only $16 return when you have a trolley ticket . Zoo, aquarium, Snorkelling, WetNWild and SealifePark all great and worth seeing . Make sure you tip - too many Aussies forget to tip the trolley drivers especially . Ross Dress For Less in Seaside Ave amazing - Calvin Klein $200 dresses for $39; Ralph Lauren dresses for $40 - but you have to spend time searching. Also $13 for a pair of Nine West stilettos I saw in Aust for $250 - and a size 8. . Pandoras charms are so much cheaper - something for $250 in Aust is $150 here . Suitcases best bought from sears or samsonsite shop at Waikele outlet - or go to the Markets and pay $30 for the expandable bags. . Makeup at Sephora incredible - makeup brushes that would cost $60 in Aust are only $15 .Victoria Secrets has a sale in December/early January - and cost prohibitive lingerie in Australia is only $30 - $50!!!! The location of this hotel is brilliant for everything you would ever want to do.

Spent 16 nights here with my entire family last March (2012) - first time timeshare experience - my wife, myself and our four adult kids. (18-24yrs of age) We had a two bedroom that overlooked Beachwalk - 5th floor I believe, I am not sure of the wing name but it was in the same building as check in. This was an amazing vacation for our family - even for travel snobs like us. I travel for work and stay at some of the nicest hotels around the world. While not up to exact par on decor and fixtures - it was clean and appropriate for us. We looked at some of the suites on the top floor and they were amazing. The staff were extremely helpful - even though we are not owners - and only gently pressing for us to take the 3 hour tour (its not 60 mins) to see if timeshare is for us. I love this location and I am considering purchasing - albeit not at the price quoted to us. You are very close to the ocean, some of the owners that offer rentals also have deals with local suppliers for further discounts on surfing, beach chairs, umbrellas, restaurants etc.. We were very comfortable and happy - anyone with kids - young or old know the family or group dynamics that can come into play..We purchased groceries - outside of Waikiki of course and made simple meals as well as big family meals and had snacks that cut down on overall costs. We never used the pool or hot tub, but our kids (yes even the 20yr olds) went down for video night and ice-cream night offered downstairs. This place is a gem. Sticker shock can come in when you look at some of the prices for lengthy stays - add it up though for larger families and groups - more room equals more dollars. Don't be afraid, book it. Or don't - there'll be more available for us! I have rebooked for Christmas and the same size unit - 15 days ..I'll repost after this next experience! If you have any questions - I am happy to answer - we have travelled to Waikiki on average 3 times per year for the last 10 - I think we have become a bit of Oahu pro's - at least abit knowledgeable.. . Stayed mostly at Marriott or Hilton Waikiki Beach (Prince Kuhio) in the past - Whenever possible now I will book here. Cheers. *Not a paid for endorsement, or owner and an actual renter...

In the heart of Waikiki. Just a block away from beach which was nice for the fam. Enjoyed option to either cook, or just step out and have great restaurant options. Priceless family time with the extended family.
