We stayed at the Harbor side resort for 7 nights. We reserved a Phase 1 2 bedroom premium lock off villa. Upon arriving they noted they had none of those units available then I showed them the guaranteed reservation and they came back and said they 1 on the ground floor that had one door with a broken and lock and they would put us in it if we did not complain at all. Once in the room it smelled of mildew/musty but I just stayed as I wanted to relax and enjoy the vacation. A couple of days in we found there was a leak in one room that appeared to be coming from the shower… carpet was soaked in the dining room I called and they sent someone to look at it and repair. He said he found a leak in the tub and fixed it, I asked what they were going to do about the wet carpet they said nothing!! We had to put new towels over it every day and they were soaked!! The leak continued and they did nothing. They offered us nothing not a new room or any type of resolution. When we checked out I told them they should fix that room before they assign it again they showed no care at all. We saw 3 cockroaches in the room. We were given 2 towels per room at maid service day even though we had a room that slept 8 and were told it would be a charge for more… Our AC stopped working on day 5 but they would not send anyone to look for several hours … once they came all he did was ask what day we checked in and said he would talk to his manager by some sort of miracle all of a sudden our room started cooling again later that night. They are definitely controlling room temps as the same happened to friends in a different building. Rooms were tired and in need of repair. I have to say that every other Person we came across while on vacation were friendly and made our stay amazing from the taxi drivers to the people in the stores and restaurants. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at the resort during the day and the beach. I just wish that our room was better and they cared about our health. I can tell you there is mold in room 1710 and you should not stay in this room health beware.

We LOVE Harborside for visiting Atlantis!

If you've never been, then booking a villa at HS is the perfect option!

You get all the benefits of the whole property, with the perks of being at a quieter, less crowded section, PLUS, you get a separate living room and kitchen! All for less money than pretty much any regular room stay!

On a bit of a budget?: Take full advantage of having the kitchen by grabbing the shuttle to the grocery store the morning after you arrive to get some items to prepare a few breakfasts/lunches. Also, if you're full from dinner, you can take back your leftovers and have them for lunch the next day!

If you book our unit (we are renting it out bc of my husband's new work schedule) I will make myself available to give you some other great tips on what to bring. And we have an amazing driver to get you from the airport, if you need a name.

We are owners and recently visited Harborside Resort twice in 6 months. If you compare the Atlantis Hotels to the Harborside you will find the Harborside is much quieter and just as convenient. Being that cruise ship people cannot visit the Harborside and they CAN visit Atlantis it makes for an all around more comfortable stay. The restaurant on site is very good. The food is great, and the sunsets from the restaurant are AMAZING! Margaritaville restaurant is a short 5 minute walk, and the casual stroll around the marina to the Atlantis marketplace is wonderful. Where you will find shops, restaurants, like Starbucks, Murray’s Deli which the food is outstanding there for breakfast and lunch, and the Seafire Steakhouse which I truly recommend. Upon check in at Harborside you will be asked for a $100 a day credit card hold, but it really is convenient as you just charge to your room and is deducted from the amount. There is also a shuttle from the resort to a nearby grocery store where you can pick up groceries and water for your week stay. $10 per person round trip, and you get an hour to shop. I think you will love the Harborside!

We rented from an owner, KevinA and had the best time over the Christmas week. Where do I begin. Simply wonderful- though glad to be home as usual.

I was worried with the negative reviews on some websites, about cost, and friendliness. It was very comparable to other resorts with food prices in all ranges. The friendliness & helpfulness of the staff was great at both the Harborside and Royal Towers. We will clearly go back, our personal concierge assigned at check in was wonderful, Sherique.

We had a 2 bedroom unit, 4 adults, a 3 month old and 3 year old. The Harborside kitchens were great and allowed us the flexiblity to eat in and at different times. (Learn about convection oven cooking. I cooked a great turkey but ruined a cake.) We taxied to a large grocery. We did the majority of our meals in condo or great sandwiches to beach/pool and ordered fries or drink. We felt obligated to make a dent in all the groceries we had purchased. (Eating a # of the meals in condo also made us feel like we had received good value throughout entire stay and since kids were napping around 2 pm, it was always easy to schedule to get back to room.)

The Harborside pool area was relaxing, with a work out room, very large hot tub, outdoor shuffleboard, pool and ping pong. Plenty of chairs and views of Nassau and Marina.

Restuarants: The Point Restaurant at Harborside pool overlooking the marina and Nassau was very reasonably priced. Dinner menu included sandwiches around $11 with fries but the full entrees were only $21 and included salad, potato, meat, coleslaw & dessert! Super location as well.

Carmines in Marina Village was a GREAT dinner choice as well. Great Atmosphere. We knew to get best value , we needed to eat the same thing. The staff immediately told us that one order of Chicken Parmesean-$58 would feed all 5 of us, we added pasta.$16, it would feed 5-6 adults easily, The salad-$21 would feed 6-8 adults easily and same for the Calamari-$23 appetizer. The meal with tip $144 and we brought home leftovers in 5 trays.

(Disliked Anthony's outside resort, for Dinner- kind of like going to Denny's. The Point much better and better value)

The location by the marina and close to Marina Village was superb. Made for relaxing walks with 3 month old while others played in hot sun. The Marina brought beautiful yachts which take your breath away and made for a lot of interesting conversation on the meaning of the names- No Rules, Scott Free, etc. We had to have eyes out for elevators at the main resort but was very do-able even with stroller.

Size: The resort is much smaller than it appears from a map. I consistently thought I was in Coral Towers, only to realize that I had walked through Royal Towers and was at end in Beach Towers. Cannot tell from inside where one hotel lobby stops and another starts, the decor is beautiful throughout.

Recreation: All the reviews talk about the DIG- unbelievable and entertained everyone from a 3 year old to my husband of 81 years. The slides and beach area/lagoons, fish etc were beyond comparison. Never had an easier time finding a pool chair.

Our 3 yr old was chosen as an Aqua Tot (only 5 a day)and was able to stand in water (Okay a little scared, so he sat on last step with Daddy) and fed the starfish, sting rays, sea urchins, conch and fish and touch them. Really cool!

Disney or Atlantis: Everything worked out great and the choice of activities beat Disney- We had gone to Disney World in April-Polynesian & Grand Floridain in August, the 3 year old had fun character meals but let's face it, each day was only 4/5 rides on Buzz Light Year, 2/3 Small World, 1/2 Winnie & Peter Pan, and the people Mover. Lots of lines, everywhere etc and not very relaxing. Atlantis was the opposite, even when we were walking somewhere, we were looking at sharks, mantarays, eels, turtles etc.

Very beautiful, relaxing and would highly reccomend the resort and the owner from whom we rented. Plan to go back.

PS- We did spend 2 nights in Royal Towers immediately before our 7 day stay at Harborside. It was nice and allowed us a chance to look around Royal Towers- better, and find the restaurant, pharmacy, & coffee bar. No question the Harborside condos are best though.... I suppose that is obvious. The shuttles were super fast and you could have a fun walk through the Marina Village if you choose to walk instead. Window shopping at Versache's, Coffee at Starbucks, ice cream at the Creamery or a hamburger at Johnny Rockets.

Amazing resort. The mix of fun for everyone is what makes it special. A day in the water park or walking the beach. Then dinner at Nobu or any of other fabulous restaurants. Finish the night off with a some time in the casino. Very safe to leave the resort and explore the island. Fabulous staff. The locals are great.

      - Family Of 4 - Taxi from airport to Harborside $65 - When the taxi arrived, 2 bellman watched us struggle with our luggage and never asked to assist. That should have been clue #1 - 1 Bedroom, Building 2, 1st floor, walls are paper thin, I can hear my neighbors next door. - Room was not cleaned . There was a coin on the floor and hair in the shower. Bring Clorox wipes! - Paid $25 for WiFi (4 devices) . WiFi does not work. Horrible connection. Multiple drops. Pure torture. The IT rep confirmed that the 5MB is SHARED amoung ALL guests so service is non existant in the morning and evenings. The best time to try to use it is between 1 am and 5 am. - We are Marriott Timeshare owners and this is the WORST! I wish I could jump on a plane to Aruba. It sooooooo much better! - NOT WORTH IT ‼️
