Hyatt Vacation Club At The Ranahan

We stayed here last year and we loved it. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. We reserved our skis online and picked them up in the lobby then took the free shuttle right to the slopes. Shuttle also would pick up and dropoff in the downtown area. Relaxing in the outdoor hot tubs next to the fire pits was a perfect way to end a day of skiing.

This is a newer resort. The staff is friendly and accommodating. There is a ski bus that takes you to several locations at Breckenridge Ski Resort, depending on where you want to begin your day of skiing. They come promptly when called at the end of the day. There is a ski valet just inside the front door to store skis, poles and boards. The hot tubs are huge with firepits nearby, there is a large indoor/outdoor pool with a spiral slide and a bar with various activities daily. The rooms are up-to-date, very clean and comfortable. Most have large balconies. I have stayed there numerous times, winter and summer, and look forward to returning.

This resort is absolutely stunning, especially in the Winter months of December/ January! Our family had a lovely stay and cant wait to go back again! We had a 1 bedroom that slept my husband and I and our 2 kids. Super comfy and has plenty of space and a kitchen to prepare some meals.

Beautifully appointed and spacious rooms! Complimentary shuttle to the ski slopes saves on parking hassles. Wonderful indoor/outdoor swimming pool and hot tubs!

Reviewed: 2022-11-02 Family Fall break. 10 Everything was super impressive from the start. The reception area was amazing! Check in was easy and the staff were so friendly. We were blown away with the 2 bed villa. Plenty of room for 4 adults and super clean!!! Even the pots and pans, glassware, silverware, bathrooms and everything were gleaming. We had a pool view and lovely balcony. The lounge area was super comfy and they sold various food items there at very reasonable prices. One of the best hotel gyms I've seen. Super clean with various items available for a work out. I would highly recommend this hotel. As we were only there for one night we wanted to make the best use of the facilities. Especially the outdoor heated pools. We thought 10.00 am was rather early for check out so later on in the evening we requested a later check out of 11.00 am. (Which is the norm in most hotels) The young man on reception said that wouldn't be a problem and that we would have top priority in the morning for this request. This made us super excited and happy. Imagine our disappointment when the morning reception team said that they couldn't oblige. That was my only gripe about our stay.

We are on property at the present. Rented two weeks of getaways thru Interval International. The resort deposit with II is a S for Suite and a V for the Villa. Our 1st week was in a Suite (Smaller unit with smaller full kitchen), 2nd week is in the Villa (much larger space with full kitchen and large bath and bedroom.) Check out the pictures for comparison. Our 1st week location was looking over the parking lot and the Blue River, 3rd floor. Small amounts of beautiful snow, but this local was in the shade with no melting of the snow. 2nd week, 2nd floor has bright sun all day with views of the pool and numerous hot tubs. In the distance you will enjoy views of the ski area and runs. Beautiful resort and staff.
