We have been coming here for 22 years and my wife and I have never traded for another destination. You can walk on the beach anywhere from this location. This is truly a paradise. Very safe very low crime rate. Wonderful happy educated native population. The Dutch Caribbean Island has a true international feel. An incredible variety of wonderful restaurants for any foodies culinary destination. A beautiful desert national park for hiking, biking or 4 wheeling. This island is below the hurricane belt just above South America that assures consistent predictable weather and a nice breeze. The sand and beach is pristine and the Marriott service is exceptional.

The Ocean Club has less people, closer to the beach, more beach and pablas ( shaded tables ) per person and is closer to everything. That's why it is so highly coveted over the surf club. The rooms get updated every year and always look new. The only mattress I like better is my custom mattress at home. Activities outside your door are endless, from Jet Ski, to snorkeling or scuba diving, tube riding, sailing, kiteboarding, windsurfing, 4 wheeling. Etc. A multi level shopping center with restaurants and boutique shops as well as a movie theater is 100 yards away. This is a wonderful place for newlyweds and family's alike. My wife likes to lay on the beach under the pablas while I am off on some activity. Their is a spa, an adult pool area, an exceptional 24 area work out Gym on the property along with some great shops and incredible restaurants. I cant say enough, can you tell?

We rented a one bedroom studio last week. (January 15-22) The location of the unit was good. Fourth floor overlooking the pool/water. Clean and comfortable. We logged online each morning at 7am to rent a palapa. There were limited back row and second to back row offerings. If we had waited until 8am, there would be no offerings. The staff was good. We found the food and drink offerings sub par and expensive for what we ordered. But that's understandable given its a resort on an island. What was not understandable or acceptable is that on our third day there, there was an invasion of disrespectful families/teenagers who pretty much took over the beach and pool area .Groups of teenagers blared music, took over peoples's beachchairs, spoke loudly and offensively with no regard for other guests. We are not old and stodgy but this was totally unacceptable. We left a day early and flew home.

Just came back from a 7 night stay in Aruba and my wife and I had a wonderful stay! I found renting through redweek.com to be an excellent experience and would defiantly do it again. I rented from Florence Holmes and she was a pleasure to deal with. We found the Ocean Club to be far superior to the Surf Club. Everything is very convenient and getting chairs at 8:30 by the pool every day was never an issue. The one issue we had at the pool was the spotty internet service. I know we are supposed to be on "Island Time", but the truth of the matter is that most people feel the need to stay connected to family, friends and work. I have AT&T and had zero service at the pool or in the Lobby. It only worked well when I was in my room for some reason. My wife on the other hand has Verizon and she was able to access the internet at the pool and in the lobby. I think the beaches in front of the Marriott properties are the biggest and the best in Aruba. The beaches in front of the other hotels are not nearly as big. The Ocean Club offers bingo on a daily basis along with other activities. The pool bar was always busy and we met a lot of friendly people throughout the week. The bartender, Wilma was out favorite! We enjoyed wonderful dinners at the nearby restaurants. I think Madam Jenette was out favorite. However I think Simply Fish went downhill. Most of the fish they offer is not local. The service was the worst we had all week and my wife and I both sent back the tuna we ordered for dinner. It was at best a 1/2 thick which in our minds was unacceptable for (I think) $38.00. Tuna steaks should be much thicker cut to allow for a proper sear. In defense of the Simply Fish management, they truly tried to resolve the issue, but by that time it was too late. We paid for our app's and drinks and were ready to leave. The unsung hero of the week was the Pelican Nest. You can walk there from the Ocean Club and eat on the pier over the water. I would recommend for any dinner you have in Aruba to make a reservation. In hindsight I wish I made reservations weeks prior to my arrival to ensure I got into every restaurant I wanted to dine. Wacky Wahoo was the one restaurant that was completely booked all week that I was unable get a reservation. The restaurant is supposedly very small. If I could recommend one thing to all of the folks in the Aruba service industry is to be friendlier. In my 2 experiences on the island I found a lot of the locals lacking customer service skills on several different occasions. Of course the worst part is leaving. If it's on a Saturday give yourself 3 hours to get through multiple security checkpoints and U.S. customs. Sunday is a whole different story. Not nearly as busy. I hope you find this review helpful.

Warning ⚠️ Oceanview is only available if u get an oceanfront villa or MAYBE a villa on 6th floor, even then it would be just a sliver of ocean view. Other than that, property has great location and all activities are well organized. Plenty of restaurants in walking distance so a car rental is not that necessary. We enjoyed our stay even though we didn’t get our anticipated “ocean view” (which is false advertising in my book). This should really Not be advertised as ocean view.

Such a great place. Oceanfront View is the way to go if you want to guarentee a view of the ocean and the amazing Aruba sunset every night. My wife and I came here for the first time in June of 2024. Our favorite thing to do was lay out on our 2nd floor oceanfront balcony every evening with a drink in one hand and a camera in the other and watch the sun go down while listening to the live music from the resturant down below. Didn't get any better than that. Our second favorite thing to do was lay out at the beach under our palapa everyday.

FYI, they've changed how you reserve palapas from the olden days. About half of them can be reserved in advance online when you check in if you pay a little extra. The other half of total palapas can be reserved morning of and it's done online as well. We never had an issue reserving one.

Resort is very well kept with a recent update and has a great location. So many different places to eat and drink right in the immediate vicinity. My only minor complaint would be that the food and drink cost is slightly on the high side, but understandable since it's a resort. On the plus side, there's plenty of cheaper places to eat and drink within a 5-10 minute walk from the resort.

We have been coming to this resort for many years. The grounds are beautiful and less crowded that the Surf Club next door. The staff are amazing and will do all they can to make your stay magical. The rooms are clean and remodeled often. They are very spacious and have a great layout for cooking and entertaining. The pool is beautiful with a swim up bar and waterfalls. There is a small but cute kid pool. There are multiple activities at the resort daily including bingo, crafts and water aerobics. The poolside restaurant and bar is perfect for lunch and happy hour cocktails. There is also a small hotdog stand and a smoothie hut. Access to all water sports is right off the beach in front of the hotel and they have everything including jet skis, tubing and parasailing among other things. The hotel and casino are right next door for other activities and restaurants. Ocean club is in a great location and can walk to many other hotels and restaurants. Most of all, the Ocean Club is safe. We have been going with the kids for years and always have the best family vacation.

A premium resort in the tropical paradise of Palm Beach. The condo-style two-bedroom villa comes with separate living and dining areas and fully equipped kitchen. You can gaze the lovely ocean from your furnished balcony. We have indulged in treatments at Mandara spa and walked over to try our luck at Stellaris Casino. The white sand beach and the pool/whirlpool are great with yoga classes and work out facilities and sport courts. We really enjoyed the seaside dining with gorgeous views in their restaurants, café and bars. It's perfect for a long vacation in Aruba to experience the full allure of the Caribbean.
