Club Wyndham Glacier Canyon is a 201-unit vacation ownership resort located adjacent to the Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Guests are encouraged to enjoy all the resort amenities at neighboring Wilderness Hotel and Golf Resort, including three indoor water parks totaling nearly 250,000 square feet, and more than 200,000 square feet of outdoor water parks, encompassing the equivalent of more than seven football fields. The resort area includes a 30,000 square foot indoor play park, a variety of restaurants, the championship Glacier Canyon golf course and more.

Wyndham Vacation Resorts at Glacier Canyon boasts one-bedroom, two-bedroom, three-bedroom and four-bedroom units, eighteen of which are lavish penthouse-style Presidential Suites. All units are fully furnished with cozy gas fireplaces, in-suite washer and dryer, full kitchen, whirlpool bathtub, full living and dining areas and more! Natural trims like rustic wood, stone and marble lend a wild and adventurous ambiance to each unit.

While the resort itself offers enough to keep anyone busy for weeks on end, don't forget to explore the rest of the Wisconsin Dells area during your stay! Favorite attractions include exploring the Wisconsin River from the water via jet boat, on land by horse-drawn wagon - or both aboard an amphibious (and famed!) Duck! Glacier Canyon is our favorite place to go in the winter with the family. We prefer to stay in a presidential suite with the large fireplace room, kitchen and dining area, multiple bedrooms and multiple bathrooms for our extended family. There are laundry machines in the suite for those wet swim suits and dirty baby clothes. The kids enjoy going to all of the water parks at the Wilderness Resort that are within indoor walking distance from the suite. There are many food choices nearby if you don't want to cook- or use the large kitchen for your own holiday meal instead!

We stayed with 3 children ages 3-8 for a week and had a great time. The resort is clean and well maintained. The rooms were very nice. I was impressed by the lifeguards they really seemed to pay close attention and were rotated every 30 minutes. Our kids loved the park and would go back again in a heartbeat. I have already rebooked for spring break next year. There is lots to do in area if you want to get out of the park. Food at the pool was a bit expensive but you pay for the location. We did most of our eating in our room. The kitchen was well supplied so cooking was simple. The one thing they need to work on is the noise late at night. When you have a resort filled with kids there is running in halls and that did not stop even late at night. We had to call security at 11:30 because there were kids running, laughing and talking in the halls. They say they strictly enforce quiet time between 10 p.m. and I think 8 a.m. but they only do when you call. It did get quiet after our call. They do need to work on being a bit more proactive in patrolling this problem. We too had an issue with our presentation. We also were called on and offered our gift with what was to be a survey visit. A problem with our account also was discovered. We are close to Platinum but have never felt the need to buy the additional points to get there. We also own property in the Cayman Islands that can be traded to RCI. We were told that if we would link this property and purchase just a few thousand more points we could be platinum. Over and over we were told that our Cayman property would not be affected and we could use as we always had used . We did explain to the sales person that we NEVER traded that property because we loved going there. Lucky for us we did not bite on this sales presentation. Upon further review we found we would have to “bank” that property with RCI then the points would be available to us as platinum. So for around $16K we would have had to trade our week to RCI, then go back to RCI, pay and exchange fee and hope we could get the resort we love in Cayman. Our sales person got a bit cold when we failed to sign that day and wanted time to review. We will return to this resort but will not do the sales thing again. I found them to be quite dishonest.

Four generations stayed here in 2008, and had a wonderful time. The numerous water parks offered something for all age groups. The kids, and adults, enjyed the water rides; Even great grandma liked the lazy river! We plan to return frequently. The resort was new and beautifully furnished. Everything we needed was available and convenient to reach. Their shuttle buses were a nice perk.

We stayed at Wyndham glacier June 6, to 13th, the weather was cool during day, rained first 3 days. Good thing there were indoor waterparks. We recieved our welcome gift then a call that said there was a problem with our account. We set an appointment to see what they were talking about. We talked a gentleman names Ramy, it was a sales pitch that we were in a facility ownership that had high maintenence fees. He offered to buy our property back from us located in Florida and repurchase in Las Vegas. He put on paper we would save an instant 60.00 month maintenence, have more points, and save money. We agreed sounded good to us right??? We were misled, we were told due to the large equity from our Florida property Wyndham was giving us a portion of the new purchase under a special 2.99 account, I was led to believe this was like a home equity set at 2.99. We signed all papers and when we got home credit cards came with interrest going to 14.99 inJan 2010. He had put 20,000 on credit cards that we can do nothing about. He also did not rebuy our Florida property so there is no maintence saving as a matter of fact it went up we use to pay just under 200.00 we now pay over 200.00. We did not realize this until we made some calls to try to reverse the sale and leave all our property as was before. We were told nothing they could do it had been past 5 days. This was the most uninfored sales presentation ever, just kept assuring us we were saving money by doing this and sign all papers as fast as he could pass them so we could get on with our vacation. Beware of sales presentations, stay away as a matter of fact. Great place to go with kids. Horible sales persons, they also could not do a tour with two couples we took with us to go toward our maintence fees. Said had to be set up months before. Very disappointed.

This review is to clarify some issues concerning rental posting R404068.

__ Rental posting was a split reservation for a (2) bedroom unit from 12/28/08-12/31/08, and a (1) bedroom unit from 12/31/08-1/4/09(this information was noted in original posting).

__ Current rental posting reflects availability of (1) bedroom unit (12/31/08-1/4/09) only, as a result of (2) bedroom expiring 12/31/08 (check- out time is 10 A.M. on 12/31- (resort determines check- out).

__ Contacted on 12/30/08 at 5 P.M. to rent the (2) bedroom unit. Explained that the (2) bedroom unit was no longer available based on reservation as noted above, and clarified in original posting.

__ The occupancy for the (1) bedroom unit should have stated (4) persons and not (5). This was an oversight and has been corrected on current posting. Sorry for the confusion.

__ Sleeping arrangements are determined by the renter. Absolutely no endorsements have been made or will be made concerning (3) adults fitting in a King size bed.
