Ocean Time

We enjoy the north Ocean City location, full size washer & dryer, and the close proximity to the beach!

Resort is on ocean side, walk to the beach is 100 ft. The fireplace is gas, not fake lights as previous rater stated. Mgmt co office is across the highway, very responsive. Indoor pool located at the next door resort. North end of OC (means less traffic) 1/2 mi from DE. Great place anytime of year.

This resort is located at the northern end of Ocean City, just a few blocks from the Delaware border (Fenwick Island, DE). Very convenient to Fenwick Island and Bethany Beach as well as Ocean City; although a little far from the OC Boardwalk.

Unit is very spacious (I'd estimate about 1,100 square feet) and decently furnished. Working fireplaces have been removed and replaced by fake ones that use lights to simulate flames.

Pleantiful off street parking in the lot in the rear of the building. The "resort" (there are no on-site resort amenities) is within the first block from the beach, (towards the ocean from Coastal Highway). Only unusual thing is the offsite management office for check-in.

Also, the second bedroom (all 30 units on the 5 floors are two bedroom, two bathrooms) has two beds: a double and a single. That accomodates three in that bedroom plus the queen bed in the masterbedroom and the queen sofabed in the living room.

We found our unit to to very clean and well maintained.

Only gets better...my third visit to Oceantime, first under new management company, Defenders. Check in was excellent, even with it offsite, staff was helpful and professional.

Housekeeping had the unit very clean, did not experience any problems other than a minor maintenance issue and within HOURS, appeared and fixed the item with a smile.

Already looking forward to my return next October, Defender is on the right track, zero complaints. A rested vacation, having the pool next door adds to the enjoyment. And hoping for better weather, since it rained every day of our visit. Plenty to do in the area, saved the vacation.

Excellent ocean view. Spacious rooms. Limited activities at resort. Very close to beach. Located in north Ocean City, away from the crowds. Plenty of off street parking. Large balcony off living room and master bedroom. Use of indoor pool at nearby resort.

Oceantime is under new management. No management on the premises. Have to call other resort to report problems. Unit #502: Improvements in housekeeping and maintenance are needed: unit was not clean upon our arrival, sheets WERE NOT CHANGED! Ewwww! Previous occupant had a CAT, (only owners may bring them -makes no sense - a total surprise to us with cat allergies!!) whether they did or didn't tell the management, who would charge $50 to exterminate for the next occupant, the unit was not extermintated and CAT HAIRS WERE EVERYWHERE, even between the sheets and in the kitchen cupboards! (Maintenance ordered complete extermination while we were there, unit was lovely after that, but we lost a few days due to suffering with allergies and having to leave so they could exterminate and replace sheets and towels!) Draw drapes in the master bedroom did not work and were drooping off the rod; two front burners on the stove were not working at all; pots and pan bottoms were warped; This resort needs some TLC, close to the beach, spacious units, furniture and carpeting in good shape but will soon be damaged if this resort continues to allow pets and does not make certain improvements.
