Powell Place is in an amazing location walking distance to everything and right on the trolley car lines. The staff are fantastic and remember you year after year. Updates are made regularly and the value of the unit is superior if you ever need to bank a week with RCI to trade out. I've owned for 30 years and just loved it.

Located on Knob Hill across from the Fairmont and Stanford Court Hotels. Directly on the cable car route which stops at the corner. Studios may have a full or partial kitchen. Trading power through RCI is very high due to it's location. The 7 days can be used individually or all 7 at once. Perfect for coming into SF for a night or 2. The location, building and staff are all 5 Stars. It is like a romantic European 5 Star B&B. Can't say enough good things about Powell Place. October 5-8, 2016 what a beautiful place. I bought 3 nights from the owner for only $100/night. My husband and I stayed in 1 bdr/1 bath. First night we checked in room103 which was nice, but the next morning we moved to 102 which was way better and bigger. The parking is not available on site but somewhere close by for $25/day, we chose a valet parking for $30 and were very happy since we only used our car few times and all we needed to call 15 min before we needed it. We really liked the location and could walk to Market street with all the stores in the world:) We bought city pass for $95/person which included Alkatraz, Exploratorium, Institute of Science, Aquarium, and unlimited cable car and all transportation in a city. Last night our daughter came and when we came back from dinner even sofa bed in living room was made for her. At the check in our fees was only for parking which was $120 for 3 nights with 2 cars for one night. The place is super clean, beautiful and front desk people were nice. I can't wait to come back.

I recently spent a fabulous week in a Nob Hill suite at Powell Place! The accommodations were perfect; the kitchen had anything I could possibly need, the living space, bedroom, and bath were extremely well appointed and very comfortable. I felt like I was sleeping on a cloud! I had ample space with a dresser, walk in closet and plenty of room in the bath. Everything was spotless! My only complaint would be climbing the stairs after a day touring the city! The staff were gracious, helpful and extremely professional. I'll be sure to stay here again on my return to San Francisco! Thank you for a wonderful place to stay!

Powell Place is in the perfect location on Nob Hill. Explore the city by foot or take the cable car. I have been going to San Francisco for the past 25 years and always enjoy staying at Powell Place. You will feel like you are in a private club with access to inside information about the best places to dine and how to enjoy the city as San Franciscans do. Powell Place is superbly maintained and is clean and welcoming. Be prepared to enjoy going up and down the steep hills that make San Francisco a delightful place to visit.

This is a clean and comfortable property in a great location, staffed by very friendly and knowledgable people.

The rooms are decent sized and have good kitchens. Nice decor. We took some of our wedding photos here.

No elevator to some of the rooms, and no bellman on duty during our rather late check- which meant we had to carry our own bags up stairs to the 3rd floor, on one of our stays.

Wireless Internet is not free, but fairly priced and works well. Bring your own laptop.

Overall recommended. I still prefer the San Francisco Suites next door (for the one-of-a- kind concierge staff and the better kitchen facilities), but Powell Place seems to me to be more modern, more up-to-date, just "newer" in some hard to explain way, which some people prefer. When I can't get into the SFS, I stay at PP and never had have a bad experience.
