Great resort within walking distance to some of the best music venues and restaurants in the French Quarter! One block to the famous Bourbon Street and Frenchman Street. Want to go shopping you're one block to the French Market. I've been going to the Jean Lafitte for over 20 years and highly recommend it to everyone! The condo is very comfortable and in the best location for all of the hotspots in the French Quarter. When you're done having fun come back and enjoy the pool in the courtyard. They even have a parking lot that you can reserve for free when staying at the resort. Jazz Fest is one of my favorite festivals in New Orleans. This is a wonderful resort. They have their own parking lot on the next block which took all the anxiety of parking our car. The resort is just coming out of a total renovation after the hurricane. The courtyard is very quaint. Bathrooms are new as are the kitchens. We liked the glass cooktops because we could see that they were clean. Management was great helping with any request. The neighborhood is really residential with very little tourism and its great. The Frenchman Street entertainment district is two blocks away with a dozen nightclubs and restaurants including Praline Connection. New landscaping in front is lush.
