Point Brown Resort Reviews & Ratings

We stayed here Oct. 13-15th, 2006, using our Vacation Internationale points and was impressed with the location, the appointments in the unit, the information they provided about the surrounding area and the friendly staff at check-in/out. We stayed in a 3 bdrm 3 bath unit with 3 floors and a garage complete with an G-door opener and had laundry appliances inside. We had a view of the ocean and jetty and loved the surround sound in the unit to listen to music with. I was proud to invite my friends and our "Girls" weekend was superb, even though rainy and stormy outside, was warm with a fire in the fireplace! I think we will make this an annual treck.

Very comfortable and large units. These are the closest you can get to the water at Ocean Shores - everything else is set back behind the dunes. These have an outstanding ocean view and Jetty view which can be very entertaining in a storm with huge waves breaking against it. The living and kitchen areas are particularly nice - the DMX stereo, large screen TV and outdoor wind gauge all provide nice entertainment. The master bath with its huge jetted jacuzzi tub is wonderful - although it can be interesting taking a shower in it!

Ocean Shores itself can be a bit boring - the new Casino right outside town is a plus. The road from the town to the condos is a bumpy trip but fun if it is raining and you can drive thru mud puddles! Simple pleasures abound at Ocean Shores!
