The easiest way to view units available is to browse by location, or
conduct a search where you can filter results based on your needs.
If you would like to be notified as new postings are added, first browse
to the specific resorts you are interested in, then select "Sign up for
alerts" in the resort's rental and resale sections. Renting a Timeshare
From an Owner RedWeek.com is a marketplace for timeshare owners to rent
or sell their weeks - giving you access to condo-style accommodations at
incredible rates (and no timeshare sales tours whatsoever). In some
cases, the owner uses RedWeek or another company to manage the rental, so
you may occasionally deal with a third-party.
Here are some tips on how to rent a timeshare:
Find a timeshare resort Search or browse through locations to find
timeshare resorts that interest you. On each resort page, you can view
all timeshare rental postings currently available.
Submit a booking request When you find a rental offer that interests you
on a resort page, click "View Posting" to see more. If you are not
already a RedWeek.com member, you will be asked to upgrade your account
in order to view full details and make contact. This membership is just
$19.99 for 12 months and gives you access to all resort reviews, and
e-mailing other owners.
If you have questions about the rental, simply contact the owner. When
you are ready to book, just click "Request to Book".
Select rentals are bookable through RedWeek's online booking system which
means RedWeek is helping the owner with the transaction, and they come
with RedWeek booking protection. When you submit a booking request on a
week with RedWeek Booking Protection, you will sign the rental agreement
upfront, and submit with your credit card payment. This is not an instant
booking — the owner will still need to accept your offer, and change the
name on the reservation before it is confirmed. This usually takes less
than five days.
Finalize your rental and enjoy! If you are renting from an owner outside
of RedWeek's online booking system, you will work out an agreement and
payment terms directly. We highly recommend using a protected payment
method wherever possible.
If working directly with an owner, be sure to request a reservation
confirmation number that can be used to verify the unit is in your name,
and call the resort to independently confirm. With RedWeek's online
booking, you will receive confirmation as soon as RedWeek staff has
verified your reservation.
