This resort has amazing views and service. The dining and bar area look out over the ocean. Accessing Carmel by the sea is a easy short drive. The rooms are spacious and the jetted tub is wonderful. The kitchen is a bit small, but has everything we need to cook meals. It was nice to have the fireplace as the nights can be a tad cool and all the wood is supplied on the property. No charge for it so you can burn as much as you like. This is a great resort for adults looking to relax in Northern Cali.

This is beautiful resort is overlooking the Pacific coastline. The resort includes a gym, sauna, pools, and restaurant. It has gorgeous ocean views, and the facility is exceptionally maintained. The staff friendly and helpful. It's quite an exceptional place to stay and visit.

My wife and I have been coming to Carmel Highlands Inn for 15 years, it is a magical experience to have a fire in the fireplace, view of the ocean and be in Carmel. The Pt Lobos State Park is just 5 minutes away and this room 214 overlooks Seal Rock and the Pt. Lobos reserve. You will have a memorable visit.

Wonderful relaxing retreat with ocean views along the Pacific Coast Highway. Conveniently located near Carmel by the Sea for shopping and fine dining. Lauch hiking and other adventures into Big Sur and be back to enjoy the sunset from your balcony sipping on the wines you discovered at the many local wineries. One of the best aquariums is located nearby in Monterey and amazing golf throughout the area including the fine courses in Pebble Beach. When we need to relax and decompress from life this is where we retreat too.

We have been coming to the Highlands Inn since 1960 and we have been owners of Unit 432 for more than 20 years. We love this resort for it's ambiance, restaurant and amazing views. It is located close to Monterey and also Highway 1 which is the most beautiful drive on the California coast. The units are all very comfortable and outfitted fully. The resort also offers the firewood for free! It has bar-b-q 's available and firepits for sitting and relaxing. It has a beautiful pool and a full fitness center. It iis a top notch resort!!

Elegant historic resort on the cliffs overlooking the Pacific Ocean, just minutes south of Carmel on scenic Highway 1. Love it! Great service, beautiful grounds, fabulous food, and dancing the night away in the fireside lounge with live music. I could watch the whales spouting in the ocean from my bedroom. So lovely! The best views on the coast!
