What is the difference between deeded and RTU?

The timeshares at Marriott's Aruba Sure Club, and in most countriesoutside the U.S., are Right to Use (RTU). This gives you the“right-to-use” for only as long as the contract permits. The resortdeveloper or Management Company holds ownership of the physical property. Deeded timeshares are true property ownership with the deed recorded inthe county where the property exists.
