To simplify - Surf Club is newer and best suited for families or largergroups, Ocean Club is older and more suitable for young and oldercouples. Both properties are well maintained and renovated.

Ocean Club was the first Marriott Vacation Club property. As grand as itis there are only six floors. The Surf Club which is adjacent towers 12floors and of course since it is newer you are treated to the lazy pooland other amenities which were not around with the Ocean Club was built.

The units are located right next to each other. Surf club is a high riseand newer. Ocean club is low rise and much smaller. Both are to Marriottstandards. Ocean club does not have access to lazy river or Surf clubpools.

Ocean Club is much nicer. Surf Club is overcrowded with too many peoplefor the size of their pool and beach. I would not stay there for free.Saw a fist fight over a pool chair! Ocean Club is the right size forpools(2) and beach. Want to get up at 6:00 am to get a spot at thebeach-Surf Club is for you!
