How is the North side different from the South side?

This page is for the North side of the resort (buildings 5-8), added in 2007. The original side, officially named simply The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas (buildings 2-4), has its own page: The Westin Kaanapali Ocean Resort Villas (South). Both sides share the pools and grounds. The site map in the gallery shows the buildings.

Every North studio has a small lanai with room for two chairs. Most South studios have a Juliet balcony instead (door that opens onto a railing with no room to sit out); only the oceanfront corner studios there have a full lanai.

North villas are a little smaller than South's. Buildings 5 and 8 are the oceanfront ones.
