Is there a difference between the Lahaina and Napili towers?
Villas in both towers are furnished and decorated exactly the same.Lahaina tower: the southernmost Marriott resort building, has an actuallobby. Oceanfront view is of Lahaina town, the islands Lanai andKaho'olawe. Napili tower: the northernmost resort building -- closest toWhaler's Village, one of largest open, green lawns along the mainKaanapali Beach, has its own bar. Oceanfront view includes islands Lanaiand Molokai. Both towers face a wide, sandy beach and a relativelyshallow, warm ocean channel that serves as a nursery for baby whales(calves) and a playground for pods of spinner and bottlenose dolphins.Both towers have quieter, meandering pools with hot tubs, waterfalls andtowel hut. All guests have access to the centrally-located 3.5 acre SuperPool with grottos, waterfalls, slides, sand-bottom Pirate ship cove, bar,Iive music, pool food & beverage service, Starbucks, carry-out food, &full-service restaurant.
Parking is more convenient in the Lahaina building as the bigger lot isadjacent to that unit. It is a decent walk to park in the Lahaina lotonce the small Napili lot fills up early evening. Comparing the 3 bedroom units in the two building, the Napili buildinghas a larger lanai and a wider expanse of windows that provides the bestview of any of the units. Read more »
They are just different towers. Marriott's Maui Ocean Club has Lahaina &Napili Towers. Owners and guests are able to use the amenities at bothlocations
Actually yes. The Napili tower is on the west side of the main building(where check-in is, etc.) and is closer to Whaler's Village. There is apool and jacuzzi there, as well as BBQ's and the beach hut for activities- surfing, snorkeling.... - is located here too. There is also a smallbar at this pool. Also, this is where the large grassy area is. The downside to the Napili tower is poor parking. The Lahaina tower is on the east side of the main building (closer to theHyatt Hotel). They also have a pool and jacuzzi, and BBQ's outside thetower. It also has a grassy area, but the Cabana style loungers that youcan rent tend to be more in front of this tower. You have to go to themain pool area for any drinks or food. This is the tower closest to the kids playground equipment, tennis court,and large parking structure. If you get a 3 bedroom unit, the ones in the Lahaina tower are a bitlarger in my opinion. Read more »
A little yes. An Island view in the Napili tower does look at themountainside and island itself. The 3 bedroom unit in the Napili towerseems to be a little on the smaller side.
