This is great resort for persons who like a mountain/rustic environment. I have spent two weeks here. I appreciate the resort's scenery and quietness. Also, there is an abundance of retailers (grocery, restaurants, etc) nearby.
4 1/2 mile winding drive to unit once in the
security gate. Unit spacious , but poorly
maintained. Timeshare owners not permitted
to use pool, and facilities.
Quiet and peaceful, but a lot of driving to do
anysight seeing.
We stayed here a few years ago in October. It
was a great location for leaf-peeping. Our unit
had it's own private whirlpool in the unit. It
was in an enclosed area between the master
bedroom and the living room. The unit was
very spacious, had a washer/dryer, and great
views. We had a 2-br with loft. The master
BR was downstairs with a king bed. Upstairs
was a bedroom with 2 twins and the loft with a
double bed. We had 2 little visitors in the
garbage disposal when we got there -- 2 little
mice. We took it out and dumped them
outside. That is the reason I rated it 4 instead
of 5.
